Author Guidelines

The Journal of Advanced Information and Intelligent Technology (JAIIT) invites original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of information science, intelligent technologies, and interdisciplinary scientific applications.

Types of Manuscripts

JAIIT accepts the following categories:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Short Communications / Technical Notes
  • Case Studies / Applied Research

All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system (OJS).
  • Authors are required to register and provide accurate metadata during submission.
  • All correspondence will be conducted through the OJS platform.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

for the Journal of Advanced Information and Intelligent Technology

Authors are requested to prepare their manuscripts carefully according to the journal format and submit the paper using the official Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) template provided by the journal. Manuscripts that do not follow the prescribed format may be returned for revision before the review process.

1. General Instructions

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
  • Papers should present original and unpublished research work that is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Authors must use the official JAIIT Microsoft Word template for manuscript preparation.
  • To ensure a double-blind review process, the main manuscript file must not contain any author information such as author name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es), acknowledgments, or any identifying information. Authors should provide these details separately in another file named “Title Page” during submission. 
  • The manuscript should be submitted both in editable .doc or .docx format and .pdf format
  • Authors should ensure proper grammar, spelling, and technical accuracy before submission.
  • The journal follows a double-column format on A4 paper size.

2. Manuscript Structure

Authors are encouraged to organize the manuscript in the following order:

  1. Title of the Paper
  2. Author Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
  3. Corresponding Author Email
  4. Abstract
  5. Keywords
  6. Introduction
  7. Literature Review / Related Work (if applicable)
  8. Methodology / Materials and Methods
  9. Results and Discussion
  10. Conclusion / Concluding Remarks
  11. Acknowledgment (optional)
  12. Appendix (optional)
  13. References
  14. Author Biography (optional, if requested)

3. Paper Title and Author Information

  • The paper title should be concise, informative, and reflect the main contribution of the research.
  • Author names should be written below the title followed by institutional affiliation and country.
  • Clearly indicate the corresponding author using an asterisk (*) and provide a valid email address.

4. Abstract

  • A structured and informative abstract is required.
  • The abstract should summarize:
    • research objective,
    • methodology,
    • major findings,
    • and conclusions.
  • The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
  • Avoid citations, equations, and uncommon abbreviations in the abstract.

5. Keywords

  • Provide a maximum of 6 keywords immediately after the abstract.
  • Avoid overly general terms and words already used in the title.
  • Use meaningful indexing terms relevant to the research area.

6. Formatting Requirements

Authors must strictly follow the formatting provided in the template.

Page Layout

  • Paper Size: A4
  • Layout: Double column
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Line spacing and margins should remain unchanged from the template.

Headings

Use hierarchical headings consistently:

  • Main headings
  • Subheadings
  • Sub-subheadings

Do not manually number headings if automatic numbering is provided in the template.

7. Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables must be clear, readable, and properly labeled.
  • Place figures and tables close to their first citation in the text.
  • Figure captions should appear below the figure.
  • Table titles should appear above the table.
  • Use high-resolution images whenever possible.

Example:

  • Fig. 1. Example of a figure caption.
  • Table 1. Example of a table title.

8. Equations

  • Equations should be centered and numbered consecutively.
  • Equation numbers should appear at the right margin in parentheses.
  • Mathematical symbols and variables should be italicized where appropriate.

Example:

(1) a + b = c

9. Abbreviations and Units

  • Define abbreviations and acronyms at their first appearance.
  • Use SI units whenever possible.
  • Maintain consistency of units throughout the manuscript.

10. References and Citation Style

The journal follows a sequential numeric citation style.

In-text Citation

  • References should be cited using Arabic numerals in square brackets.
  • References must appear in the order of citation.

Examples:

  • “Artificial intelligence has become widely used in healthcare [1].”
  • “Several methods have been proposed [2,5,7].”
  • “Deep learning techniques have shown significant progress [3–6].”

Reference List

  • All references must appear at the end of the manuscript.
  • References should be listed numerically according to first citation order.
  • Ensure all cited references are included and accurately formatted.

11. Conclusion Section

The conclusion should:

  • summarize the major findings,
  • highlight the novelty and contribution,
  • discuss significance and implications,
  • and optionally mention future research directions.

Avoid introducing new data or extensive citations in this section.

12. Acknowledgment

Acknowledgments may be included to recognize:

  • funding agencies,
  • research grants,
  • institutional support,
  • or technical assistance.

13. Ethical Responsibilities

Authors must ensure:

  • originality of the work,
  • proper citation of sources,
  • avoidance of plagiarism,
  • and ethical research practices.

Any form of plagiarism, duplicate submission, or unethical conduct will result in rejection of the manuscript.

14. Template Usage

Authors must prepare the manuscript using the official JAIIT .doc template provided by the journal. Authors are strongly advised not to modify margins, fonts, spacing, or predefined styles in the template.

15. Submission Information

Authors should submit their manuscripts through the journal submission system/OJS platform in editable Word format along with any supplementary files requested by the editorial office.
