The Journal of Emerging Global Health (JEGH) is dedicated to promoting unrestricted access to scholarly research through its open-access model. This ensures that readers worldwide can freely read, share, and reference published articles without any paywall or subscription barriers, provided proper credit is given to the authors and publisher.
To maintain high editorial standards and support the journal's operations, the following Article Processing Charge (APC) policy will apply:
Current APC Policy (Until December 2026)
No Submission or Publication Fees: All manuscripts submitted and accepted in 2026 will be published free of charge.
Full Open Access:Full Open Access: All published articles will be available online without any access restrictions, ensuring global reach and impact.
Future APC Policy (Effective 2027)
To sustain the journal’s open-access model and cover operational costs, an Article Processing Charge (APC) will be introduced starting from 2027.

APC Implementation: From 2027 onwards, an APC of $200 USD will be applied to all accepted manuscripts.

Reason for the APC: The fee will support the journal’s essential functions, including editorial processes, peer-review management, digital archiving, and platform maintenance.

Waivers and Discounts
Details on potential APC waivers or discounts for authors from low-income or developing countries will be announced before the 2027 policy takes effect.
