About the Journal

Journal of Society and Progress (JSP), ISSN 3135-2774, is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. The journal provides an interdisciplinary forum for research on society, development, culture, education, governance, economy, technology, environment, public policy, social justice, and human progress, with particular attention to Bangladesh, South Asia, the Global South, and comparative global contexts.

JSP welcomes original research articles, review articles, policy-oriented analyses, research notes, and book reviews that make a clear scholarly contribution and address questions of social transformation, institutional change, inclusive development, sustainability, equity, and public life. The journal encourages empirically grounded, theoretically informed, and methodologically transparent scholarship from researchers across the social sciences, humanities, education, development studies, business and society studies, media and communication, law and governance, public health, gender studies, environmental studies, and related fields.
